Fast Company – March 2010

Fast Company March issue 2010 has some interesting articles, reviews and charts.

The March ‘10 issue carries a front cover picture of Founder and CEO of the worlds biggest social media network Faceboook. Mark Zuckerbergs’ company is featured in Fast Companies Top 50 most innovative companies of 2010. As the editor explains in his address to the read-ship, there was no real algorithm used in compiling the list of Top 50, this is clearly evident when one checks out the companies on the list. Such as in the case when Walmart and Amazon appearing higher up the list than GE and IBM and with companies such as HTC  even appearing on the list makes for an interesting Top 50 countdown.

This issue also presents top 10 lists of companies by industry such as Advertising, Film, Food, Mobile and Music to name a few.

This issue also coveres articles such as an interview with designer Eugenia Kim talking about her next big idea and how a casual eatery in the US manged to turn criticism into creative alterations with the use of a private online network. Plus many other articles besides.

Finally the regular ”Now” feature, profiles events of the month from National Pig Day on March 1st to a Picasso Themes and Variations exhibition opening at the MOMA.
